The Simagic NEO X Hub is a modular sim racing steering hub designed to turn almost any compatible steering wheel rim into a fully functional, high-end sim racing wheel. It’s built as a flexible, open-platform system, making it one of the most versatile hubs in the Simagic ecosystem.
Modular Hub Platform (Core Function)
The NEO X is not a complete wheel—it’s a central control hub that mounts to a rim (via 6x70mm pattern) and adds buttons, encoders, LEDs, and optional paddle modules. It allows users to build a fully customised steering wheel setup tailored to their driving style.
Customisable Paddle System
The hub supports multiple configurations:
- No paddles (clean setup)
- Single paddle module
- Dual paddle module
Paddles are adjustable in length and position, allowing compatibility with different rim sizes and driving styles.
Advanced Control Layout
The NEO X includes a full motorsport-style control system:
- 8 RGB programmable buttons
- 2 thumb rotary encoders
- 2 multi-position (7-way) switches
- 2 programmable LED encoders
- RGB shift/rev light system
This gives full control over in-race adjustments like brake bias, traction control, and telemetry settings.
Open Ecosystem Compatibility (Key Advantage)
One of its biggest strengths is flexibility:
- Supports standard 50mm & 70mm quick release systems
- Works with Simagic bases and third-party wheelbases via MagLink
- Can connect directly to PC via USB
This makes it ideal for mixed-brand setups and custom rigs.
Wireless + Wired Connectivity
The hub supports:
- 2.4GHz wireless connection (with Simagic bases)
- USB wired connection for universal compatibility
This ensures stable communication and flexible installation options.
Lightweight Carbon Composite Construction
Built from carbon fibre composite materials, the NEO X is lightweight yet strong, helping preserve force feedback detail while keeping rotational mass low.
Designed for DIY & Custom Builds
The NEO X is ideal for:
- Custom steering wheel builds
- Swappable rim setups (GT, drift, rally, etc.)
- Sim racers who want full control over layout and components
